When to visit Dharamshala: -

From March end to end of June. The morning and The afternoon are just right for exploring. The air gets slightly chilly when sun sets.

Avoid visiting the city in the monsoon.

How to reach Dharamshala: -

By road: -

Dharamshala has great road connectivity.

The mode of travelling should be private, roadways buses or tourist vehicles.

The Dharamshala is 29kms from  Kangra, 85kms from Pathankot, 119kms from Dalhouise, 239kms from Shimla, 241kms from Chandigarh, 526kms from Delhi and 783kms from Jaipur.

By train To Dharamshala: -

Nearest railway station is Pathankot.

One can book a train from his/her hometown and after reaching Pathankot he/she should have a bus from Pathankot  or have a taxi to reach the stunning hill station.

By Air To Dharamshala: -

The nearest airport is situated in Gaggal. Which is around 15kms away from Dharmshala. One can book a flight from Dharamshala. One can book a flight from his/her hometown and after reaching Gaggal he or she will hire a taxi .The approx. cost of taxi fare is around 1200-190.
